It can be summed up in one simple word.
B U C K E T.
That's right.... none other but a KFC bucket. After years (quite literally) of Rowan nudging me each time an ad came on, pleading, "Can we get a bucket!?!?" and me saying, "No no no no...", Row & I finally took a new turn in our relationship...
We didn't do it alone though - in fact, we had spent weeks (quite literally) planning the momentous occassion with our regular Wed night dinner dates, otherwise known as the spunky Anna & Mike.
All I can say is we did it. I had never, and I repeat never, done it before. I'm glad I've done it. I don't regret it. And yet, I'm not sure we will do it again.
Having said that, the crispy skin marinated in the 11 secret herbs & spices did go down well. Especially with a couple of quiet beers... Almost a little too well though; and it's for that very reason ladies and gentlemen that we will not be doing 'the buck' again any time soon.

We've set a preliminary date for our 8 1/2 month anniversary... so come August 2012, we may just visit the colonel one more time.
